CINDERELLA UNDER THE SEA

The 2000 extravaganza took the well loved Cinders panto tale and set it deep under the ocean. All the usual panto shenanigans befall the damp damsel, but this production brought with it Back End's own particular brand of off-the-wall twists and turns along the way. Cinders worked in the kitchen of the palace belonging to the King and Queen of Pacifica where she lived with her Ugly Sisters and nasty stepmother. Yearning for a better life she fantasised that she would be romanced by the handsome Prince Atlantis. But how would she get him to notice her? Meanwhile, the evil ruler of the neighbouring kingdom of Volcania, Lord Storm, was cooking up a plot of his own. He wanted his daughter Calypso to marry the Prince to allow him to rule the realm of the underwaterworld!!!
